Valeria Vaccaro | VAF FOUNDATION | Finalist Art Price 2022
The PUNTO SULL’ARTE Gallery is proud to announce that Valeria Vaccaro is one of the 10 Finalists of the VAF Foundation 2022 Art Award.
The talented sculptor was selected by the Foundation’s Jury after being noticed at the stand of our Gallery at ArtVerona 2019. At the Fair were exhibited some of his most representative works of the series “Urban Platform”, “Handle with care” and “Open this side”.
The final exhibition of the IX edition of the “VAF Foundation Art Prize” will be held from 11 March to 22 May 2022 at the Stadtgalerie in Kiel, Germany. The exhibition will present the works of the ten selected finalists: Luca Azzurro, Renata a Cristina Cosi, Silvia Inselvini, KEM collective, L’orMa, Enrico Minguzzi, Antonio Ottomanelli, Sebastiano Raimondo, Dario Tironi, Valeria Vaccaro.
Starting from the IX edition in 2022 the VAF Foundation will award a first prize worth € 15,000, a second prize worth € 7,500, a third prize worth € 5,000. The winner of the first prize will be entitled to the acquisition of the work in competition, which will therefore be added to the amount of € 15,000, thus becoming part of the Collection of the VAF Foundation.
New to this new edition will be the exhibition mode of the exhibition: next to the works of the young finalist artists will be exhibited the works of Masters belonging to the VAF Stiftung Collection. For the 2022 edition, some works by Paolo Baratella from the VAF Stiftung Collection will be selected and exhibited and the artist will be awarded a lifetime achievement award.
On the occasion of the exhibition, a catalogue will be published, in a bilingual German and Italian edition. Opening: March 11, 2022
