The Museum-Restaurant TAVOLO UNICO, located in Busto Arsizio (VA), merges contemporary art and fine dining, two languages capable of engaging in dialogue through sensitivity, research, and experience. In the evocative setting of Tavolo Unico, the culinary journey intertwines with the artistic one, creating an immersive experience where each environment becomes an opportunity for discovery and wonder.

Within several rooms that make up the restaurant’s layout, the site-specific works by Lara Martinato, Lorenzo and Simona Perrone, and Alice Zanin establish a direct dialogue with the spaces, transforming them into places of connection and contemplation. In the case of Alice Zanin’s sculptures, they interact with masterpieces by Marc Chagall, creating a unique synergy. Their interventions, conceived in close connection with the architecture and atmosphere of the surroundings, guide guests through an experience that transcends traditional art appreciation, engaging perceptions, emotions, and imagination.

Alongside these installations, the works of Kyoji Nagatani, Gèraldine Morin, Erik Salin, Valeria Vaccaro, Alex Pinna, Silvio Porzionato, and Eric Roux-Fontaine enrich the exhibition path with suggestions that range from the human figure to inner landscapes, from memory to dreamlike dimensions, contributing to a continuous dialogue between artistic vision and sensory experience.

The Museum-Restaurant project by chef Massimiliano Babila Cagelli arises from the desire to transcend traditional boundaries between disciplines and cultural spaces, proposing a new way to experience art: closer, participatory, and integrated into everyday life. This experience invites the public to slow down their gaze, to be surprised by unexpected connections between artworks, spaces, and people, rediscovering the value of sharing and aesthetic exploration.
