PREMIO FONDAZIONE VAF IX EDIZIONE VINCITORI
The Jury of the VAF Foundation, composed of Cesare Biasini Selvaggi, Volker W. Feierabend, Daniela Ferrari, Elena Pontiggia, during the inauguration of the exhibition at the Stadtgalerie Kiel announced the winners of the IX edition of the VAF Foundation Award.
After careful examination and scrupulous consultation, the Jury of the VAF Foundation came to the unanimous decision to confer the highest artistic recognition of the VAF Foundation for the year 2022 to the artist L’orMa (Lorenzo Mariani) for the reinterpretation of the materials of the sculpture with intents of ironic lightness. The artist will be awarded the First Prize worth € 15,000 in addition to the acquisition of the work in competition. The artist Valeria Vaccaro is awarded the second prize, worth 7,500 euros, for the ability of plastic materials to metamorphosis. Enrico Minguzzi is awarded the third Prize worth 5,000 for research on the pictorial and sign texture of the composition.
A special mention was given to the Kem collective for their promising research in the field of new media art.
