Vanni Cuoghi was born in 1966 in Genoa. He graduated in scenic design at the Brera Academy in Milan. He took part into various art biennals in Italy and abroad, among which the Saint Petersburg Biennal (2008), the Prague Biennal (2009), the Venice Biennal (2011) and the Italy-China Biennal (2012), moreover he participated into public exhibitions at the Royal Palace in Milan (2007). the Haidian Exhibition in Beijing, during the XXXIX Olympic Games (2008), the Liu Haisu Museum in Shanghai (2008), the Contemporary Art Museum in Permm, Russia, (2010), the Sforza Castle in Milan (2012). His works have been exposed in various italian and international art fairs, like Fieze (London), MiArt (Milan), Artefiera (Bologna), Scope (New York). In 2012, commissioned by Costa Crociere, he realized eight big paintings for the Costa Fascinosa cruise ship. He lives and works in Milan.
