Poggiolo a Central Park di Matteo Massagrande – Uno scorcio su Central Park tra alberi e grattacieli di New York. In mostra SOGLIE, Galleria PUNTO SULL’ARTE, Varese

Poggiolo a Central Park by Matteo Massagrande

With Poggiolo a Central Park, Matteo Massagrande captures an urban view suspended between interior and exterior. Through an open window and an elegant wrought-iron balcony, the gaze falls upon the trees of Central Park and the vertical architecture of New York rising beyond the foliage. The scene brings together nature and city in a quiet balance, where light filters through the leaves and builds depth and atmosphere. The work is on view at PUNTO SULL’ARTE Gallery in Varese as part of the solo exhibition SOGLIE – Stanze, Paesaggi, Città.

Description “Poggiolo a Central Park”

In Poggiolo a Central Park, Massagrande structures the composition through the architectural frame of the window and balcony, which guide the viewer’s gaze toward the urban landscape. The vegetation of the park intertwines with the silhouettes of the skyscrapers, while light shapes the surfaces and creates a dialogue between nature and architecture. The painting conveys an intimate and contemplative vision of the city.

Conclusion

The work resonates with the theme of the exhibition SOGLIE, dedicated to spaces of passage and transition. In Poggiolo a Central Park, the window and balcony become a visual threshold between domestic space and the urban landscape, inviting the viewer to observe the city from a quiet and reflective perspective. The artwork is on view at PUNTO SULL’ARTE Gallery in Varese until May 9, 2026.
