The artist: Lara Martinato
Lara Martinato was born in Busto Arsizio in 1967. After attending art high school, she studied archaeology and conservation restoration at the Palazzo Spinelli Institute for Art in Florence. She later graduated from the Université Catholique in Paris, where she deepened her knowledge of the techniques of the great masters through the study of works housed in the city’s major museums. After moving to Rome, she worked as a painter of theatrical and cinematic scenographies, collaborating with Maestro Michele Franculli while also working as a restorer and interior decorator. Following a long stay in London, she returned to Italy and developed an artistic research focused on symbolic, spiritual, and esoteric themes within contemporary society. Her works are included in international public and private collections. She lives and works in Italy.
