Prussia by Claudia Giraudo

With Prussia, Claudia Giraudo continues her exploration of childhood as a suspended space between reality and symbolic dimension. The protagonist of the painting appears immersed in a silent and contemplative atmosphere, where the presence of the guiding animal becomes the manifestation of a deep connection with instinct and with the most authentic side of nature.

The artist: Claudia Giraudo

Claudia Giraudo was born in Turin in 1974 and graduated with top honors from the Albertina Academy of Fine Arts under the guidance of Professor Franco Fanelli. Her artistic research develops within contemporary figurative painting through an in-depth study of Renaissance and Northern European Masters, references that emerge in the refined technique and suspended atmosphere of her works. Her child figures, immersed in symbolic and fairy-tale-like scenes, establish a constant dialogue with guiding animals representing the instinctive and spiritual dimension of human beings. She regularly exhibits in galleries, art fairs, and public institutions in Italy and abroad. She lives and works in Piedmont.

Description of  “Prussia”

In Prussia, the young figure appears suspended in an intimate and timeless dimension. The direct gaze and the relationship with the animal element suggest a delicate and silent inner transformation, in which nature and identity seem to merge. Giraudo’s smooth and luminous painting technique enhances the contemplative quality of the work, creating a poetic and deeply evocative image.

Conclusion
