The Artist: Luca Gastaldo
Born in Milan in 1983, Luca Gastaldo is known for his authentically romantic and visionary style. His artistic exploration focuses on mental landscapes where skies and waters become mirrors of the soul. Using mixed media techniques such as bitumen, chalk, and cloth, Gastaldo creates emotionally resonant images that gradually reveal rich inner worlds.
Description
In Silenzi, the viewer is drawn toward a solitary boat adrift on a calm lake, encircled by softly rendered hills. The scene feels dreamlike, more akin to a memory than a real place. The silence in the work is not empty—it is full, inviting a quiet moment of reflection and emotional depth.
