With Fox Soul, Simone Benedetto explores the theme of intuition and inner balance, intertwining it with the delicacy of childhood. The sculpture portrays a young child, his head concealed by a fox mask: an image that blends fragility and cunning, evoking the subtle, watchful presence of the totemic animal. The work is presented in the solo exhibition IN-WILD at Galleria PUNTO SULL’ARTE in Varese.

The artist: Simone Benedetto

Simone Benedetto develops his artistic research around the concept of transformation, merging refined technique with emotional intensity. His sculptures, rendered with realism and sensitivity, evoke the crucial stages of growth and self-discovery. Born in Turin in 1985, Benedetto graduated with honors in Sculpture and Plastic Arts at the Albertina Academy of Fine Arts. Today he lives and works in Turin, exhibiting his works in prestigious contexts both in Italy and abroad.

In Fox Soul, the youthful body and the face hidden beneath the mask suggest an attitude of listening and waiting. The fox, symbol of intelligence and perceptive sensitivity, becomes a metaphor for adaptability and the silent strength that can arise from vulnerability.
