Feel stunning by Simone Benedetto

With Feel Stunning, Simone Benedetto continues his exploration of the child figure as a symbol of inner transformation and connection with nature. The artwork creates a suspended and instinctive dimension in which the vegetal element becomes an integral part of the figure’s identity.

The artist: Simone Benedetto

Simone Benedetto was born in Turin in 1985 and graduated with honors in Sculpture and Plastic Arts from the Accademia Albertina di Belle Arti. His research focuses on the figure of the child as a symbolic device of psychological transformation. The child is never represented as a fixed identity, but as an evolving organism, suspended between human and animal states. Through extremely precise modelling, the artist gives visible form to the inner process of change that accompanies growth. Each work becomes a hybrid sculptural image in which animal elements emerge from the child’s body itself. He has taken part in numerous solo and group exhibitions in Italy and abroad and lives and works in Turin.

Description of  “Feel stunning”

In Feel Stunning, the young figure appears gathered in an intense and concentrated posture, while the large leaf opening behind the body amplifies the sense of transformation and connection with nature. The vegetal element is not decorative, but becomes a symbolic extension of the figure itself, evoking growth, energy, and vulnerability. The sculpture creates a poetic image suspended between instinctive strength and emotional delicacy.

Conclusion

Within WILD SOULS, Feel Stunning becomes part of the dialogue dedicated to the relationship between childhood, nature, and inner identity. The artwork invites the viewer to reflect on transformation as a profound and universal experience. The artwork is on view at PUNTO SULL’ARTE until June 13.
