24The Third Point on Art is “Pop”

Varese – The Gallery has opened the Third Point on Art. With the headquarters in Viale Sant’Antonio and the exhibition space in Via San Martino della Battaglia, since last Saturday, always in the same street but at number 3, a new center dedicated this time to POP Contemporary Art has opened.

The Punto Sull’Arte Gallery, which since 2011 has been carefully following the evolution of the art phenomenon in Italy and abroad, dedicates to this current an ad hoc exhibition space, the POP POINT, where to present, alongside names already known and recognized all over the world, a selection of talented emerging young people such as Valentina Diena who carries out an almost detective investigation around the objects that we are used to seeing as fellow travelers, without worrying about observing them closely and giving them the right weight in our lives. The artist, on the other hand, extremes their fetishization, making them almost grotesque, but of an extraordinary formal perfection, thanks to the incredible pictorial technique evident in the use of colored pencils.
