ELENI PAPAIOANNOU

Athens, 1968

“I love listening to other people’s stories. Happy or sad, ordinary or different ones. Every time i find myself on a city bus, I try to observe the scenery, various objects, illuminated windows and I create my own stories and scripts.

I was born in Athens in 1968. I live in Thessaloniki and I work as a chemical engineer. Since 2009 I have attended various photography courses at the STEREOSIS school. I participated in the seminar “Laboratory in Progress” given by the renowned Greek photographer S. Kalafatis and Prof. K. Pavlidis. In 2013 I got involved in the theory of photography with the internationally known photographer P. Petridis. Moreover, some of my photos form part of “Urban Single-Act Plays”, an exclusive theatrical production of the digital journal Athens Voice.
