The artist Annalù
Annalù is an Italian contemporary artist born in San Donà di Piave in 1976 and graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in Venice. Her artistic practice is rooted in the experimental use of materials such as resin, Murano glass, paper, and pigments, creating sculptures and installations of remarkable poetic and evocative power. Exhibited in major museums, galleries, and international collections, her works explore the delicate balance between nature and artifice, transparency and substance, transforming organic forms into dreamlike visions suspended in time.
Description
In Talea, Annalù explores the concept of regeneration through a floral form that appears to emerge and dissolve at the same time. The petals, shaped in translucent resin and infused with vibrant shades of magenta, violet, and amber, capture and refract light, creating ever-changing effects of depth and luminosity. Elevated on a slender metal stem, the bloom seems to float effortlessly in space, emphasizing the delicate balance between lightness and solidity. Its textured edges and fluid chromatic transitions suggest an organism in constant transformation, turning the flower into a powerful metaphor for growth, resilience, and nature’s endless capacity for renewal.
