The artwork Mini mix CLXVIII-04 by Roberto Bernardi is a hyperrealistic sculpture from the Mini Equilibristi series. Presented at the PUNTO SULL’ARTE gallery in Varese, this refined painted resin composition depicts a surprising vertical balance: at the base, a pink Oreo, followed by a classic black Oreo, a glazed donut with a visible bite, and finally a bitten white Oreo. Each element is rendered with such technical precision that it challenges visual perception.
With his extraordinary painting mastery and meticulous attention to detail, Bernardi elevates everyday objects into symbols of contemporary pop culture. He blends irony, nostalgia, and virtuosity in a sculpture that both surprises and captivates. The piece fits seamlessly within the creative journey of the Umbrian artist, who is internationally recognized for his hyperrealistic works that celebrate the beauty of the everyday.
Mini mix CLXVIII-04 represents a perfect dialogue between hyperrealism, design, and pop culture. Roberto Bernardi transforms simple sweets into a sculptural artwork with strong visual and emotional impact, capable of evoking personal memories and contemporary wonder.
