Igor Molin

Venezia 1981

Igor Molin's poetic research is strictly connected to painting and figuration, his aim is to represent his contemporaneity with a modern yet personal language. Light and colour characterize his artworks, which is affected by the influence of Igor's Venetian origins. Molin's painting is kind of a personal diary where he regularly takes note of his daily experiences, above all those connected to the homogenization of young people and to the new social inclinations often contextualized in a scenery out of time and space. He has exhibited in Italy and abroad, earning major awards and recognitions. Currently he works with several galleries in Italy, France and Slovenia.

Igor Molin was born in Venice in 1981. He graduated from State Fine Art High School in Venice, then earned a diploma at the Academy of Fine Arts of Venice and a further degree in Visual Arts and Scenery with specialization in painting connected to the Academy of Fine Arts of Venice. He lives and works in Riva del Garda (TN).
